Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz have sent wedding gifts to ex-lover Tom Cruise.
Nicole, who was married to Tom for almost a decade, sent him and his fiancée Katie Holmes a wedding present with a note that "wishes them both a lifetime of happiness together", according to People magazine.
Sources were unable to confirm what the gift was.
Tom and Nicole have two adopted children, Isabella, 13 and Connor, 11.
Penelope - who dated Tom for two years - also gave the couple her blessing. The 'Volver' actress has sent 100 white roses to their suite in Rome's luxurious Hassler hotel.
Tom and Katie's celebrity friends began to arrive in Rome yesterday (16.11.06) ahead of tomorrow's (18.11.06) nuptials.
Jim Carrey and his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony, Cameron Crowe, actress Leah Rimini and Jada Pinkett Smith all headed to the Nino restaurant for a special meal with the happy couple last night (16.11.06).
Brooke Shields, who had a public falling out with Tom last year, was also present at the meal.
'Mission: Impossible III' director J.J. Abrams said the night was "fantastic".
Katie's family also landed yesterday at Rome's Ciampino airport. Her mother Kathy and father Martin said they were "very happy to be here".
Brad Pitt and George Clooney are also reported to be on the wedding guest list.
Tom, 44, and Katie, 27, are expected to begin their marital celebrations today (17.11.06) and will be having both a Catholic and Scientology wedding service.
They are reportedly tying the knot at Italian 15th century Odescalchi Castle tomorrow (18.11.06).
