Lady Sovereign Breaks Down Onstage.... British hip-hop star Lady Sovereign broke down on stage in Los Angeles on Wednesday (15Nov06) after struggling to perform with a severe chest infection against medical advice.
Lady Sovereign - real name Louise Harman - had difficulty delivering her lyrics during the opening songs at her show at the El Rey Theatre - and was forced to leave the stage several times before finally admitting defeat.
She says, "I hated disappointing everybody. The pain and frustration hurt so much, it was scary".
Harman's remaining American dates are set to go ahead as planned.
