Madonna is planning on adopting another Malawian baby - but this time a girl.
The 48-year-old singer has revealed that she and her British film director husband Guy Ritchie intend to return to the Lilongwe orphanage, where they found 13-month-old David Banda, to find another child.
When asked if she was going to adopt another baby, Madonna said: "Yes, absolutely. I'm going to adopt another Malawian child very quickly. A baby girl this time, in order to redress the balance."
The 'Hung Up' singer has also revealed she plans to take the couple's two other children, Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, six, to help choose the new baby.
She told French magazine Paris Match: "The next time I visit the orphanage I am going to take the children with me. I want to open their minds to the rest of the world."
Next week, Madonna's adoption of David will be ruled upon in Malawi's High Court.
