JESSICA SIMPSON is helping to further reports she's romancing JOHN MAYER by planning to record a film duet with the blues singer/songwriter.
Simpson and Mayer have repeatedly shot down reports they're dating but were recently photographed dining out together, and now the pop star wants to get Mayer in the studio.
She has reportedly asked Mayer to record a duet with her for the soundtrack of her new film, BLONDE AMBITION, according to American magazine Life & Style.
