Gay VS Gay: Lance Bass' Ex ues Perez Hilton!
LANCE BASS' ex-boyfriend REICHEN LEHMKUHL is suing internet gossip blogger PEREZ HILTON for writing unflattering statements about him.
Reality TV star Lehmkuhl posted a message on his official website slamming the rumours and claims he decided to sue after he received encouragement from others who have been targets of the same website.
In a message posted on his website yesterday (21DEC06) he says celebrities and their lawyers contacted him regarding a class action lawsuit against Hilton, real name MARIO LAVANDEIRA.
He explains, "It is not clear how the lawsuit will be structured, but we are committed...the goal of the lawsuit is to result in the stopping of your name being used in connection with untruths and gossip on the internet that obviously damage/ruin your name/reputation and lessen your ability to be successful in your profession."
Lavandeira has hit back at the claims saying, "Now that he can't comfortably ride Lance Bass' coattails, this is Reichen's latest transparent attempt to get publicity for himself. I applaud him."
This is just the latest threat of legal action against Lavandeira - he is currently being sued for $7.5 million (£3.8 million) by photo agencies for using their pictures without permission.
