Most Popular Show on Television 2010; True Blood
According to Tv.com, the most popular show on television right now is True Blood. This is most def a show that you have to have a DVR for DIRECTV for! For those of you who dont watch my addiction, True Blood is an escape to a fantasy.
In Ture Blood, Vampires not only exist, but the entire world knows about them. Since a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many people remain apprehensive about… More vampires living amongst them in Louisiana. In the southern town of Bon Temps, a local barmaid named Sookie Stackhouse ( Anna Paquin ) understands what it's like to be an outcast. Cursed with the ability to listen in on people's thoughts, she's also open-minded about the integration of vampires. She is especially intrigued by Bill Compton( Stephen Moyer ), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill's arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test. Other town residents include Sookie’s best friend Tara ( Rutina Wesley ), her slow-witted older brother Jason ( Ryan Kwanten ) and her shape-shifting boss Sam ( Sam Trammell ). Six Feet Under ’s creator Alan Ball created this sexy horror show based on the novels by Charlaine Harris.

As we approach a new season of The Apprentice, I thought it would be a great time to recap last season (my fav season so far!)

Baseball Great Darryl Strawberry - His winnings will go to The Darryl Strawberry Foundation, a charity started by Tracy (his wife) and Darryl to raise awareness for children with autism.
Curtis Stone, TV Personality and Chef - Stone is currently playing for Feeding America, an America domestic hunger relief program.
Bret Michaels, Reality TV Star and Poison Front man - A diabetic, Bret is playing for the American Diabetes Association.
Track and Field Star Michael Johnson - Putting sports to use for social change in communities around the world, Johnson is playing for Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
Rod Blagojevich, Former Illinois Governor - Rod, the former Illinois Governor who is currently in a little bit of legal trouble, is playing for the Children's Cancer Center.
Sinbad, Actor and Comedian - The comic great is currently playing for the Omega Boys Club.

Author and Actress Holly Robinson Peete - She is currently putting her efforts towards benefiting the HollyRod Foundation, a group who work to help those who have family facing serious medical conditions, but do not have the means to treat it.
Maria Kanellis, Singer, Actress, and WWE Star - Her talents are going to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Stand-up Comedian Carol Leifer - The comic mind of Leifer is working to benefit the North Shore Animal League, a charity designed to help unwanted animals find a home.
Sharon Osbourne - Supporting the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program, a charity at Cedars-Sinai.
Cyndi Lauper, Musician - Lauper, who has been a proud and influential musician since the '80s, is currently playing for the True Colors Fund of Stonewall Community Foundations, which helps to raise awareness to the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender community.
Selita Ebanks, Model - She is playing for Shine on Sierra Leone, which benefits those affected by the decade long civil war in Sierra Leone.
Former Olympian Summer Sanders - Her efforts are put forth for the charity Right to Play, which help children in developing countries have access to sports and activities.

Even though Bret admitted to the hospital for a warning stroke, one month after suffering a brain hemorrhage, he came back for the finale. He will be back on television soon, first in a series of interviews to celebrate his “Celebrity Apprentice” victory. Next Sunday VH1 will preview a forthcoming reality show, “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It,” that is supposed to debut in fall next fall. But the cable channel said last week that production on the show had been “temporarily halted,” with “Bret’s health as our primary concern.”

Perez Hilton to be Charged with Child Pornography? Miley Cirus
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, or someone with access to his Twitter account, sent out a link to a celebrity "upskirt" photo last Sunday. No big deal, right, happens all the time? Seriously, just ask Lindsay Lohan. Except this time, the skirt was allegedly being worn by one Miley Cyrus.
For those who don't hang out in the Internet gutter, such photos are usually snapped when a female celeb -- in a short dress or skirt, preferably sans panties -- gets out of a car. It's a vulnerable moment, unless you're Demi Moore, in which case your ninja upskirt-blocking skills prevent such hideous images from being captured.
Outside of celeb circles, such ninja skills are referred to as "acting like a lady."
But here's the problem: Miley, no matter how much she "Can't Be Tamed," is only 17. As in, not 18. Also referred to as "not legally an adult." Which means laws protecting kids from sexual exploitation could come into play -- 17 is an age that Perez's male enhancement needs to be kept to ones self...not published on the net.
The link's long gone, and there's talk that the image might be a product of Photoshop, but according to a legal analyst over at Salon, none of that matters.
"We're not talking about a misdemeanor," attorney Jeffrey Douglas told the website. "You don't have to know what the definition of the law is; all you have to do is knowingly distribute the photograph."
On Monday night, Hilton posted a video -- not a direct response to the photo link, mind you -- in which he says that "it's OK for Miley to be a little sexier, because she's almost 18." And on Tuesday afternoon he posted a link to a picture of Miley fully clothed, allegedly "proving" underwear was present because you can see it through her frock.

Direct TV's 4th Annual Celebrity Bowl
The stars were out in full force for a little flag football fun during Direct TV's 3rd Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl at Progress Energy Park in St Petersburg on Saturday (January 31).
Taking the field were Gossip Girl stars Chace Crawford, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, along with Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Adrienne Bailon, Stacy Keibler, Maria Menounos, Dave Annabelle, Matthew Rhys, Jayde Nicole and NFL stars including Reggie Bush and Eddie George -

Super Bowl 2010 - How Tickets are Sold, Can You Win Them?

Insider Information on the Billy Mays Celebrity Death
Mays, 50, the emphatic and well-known seller of the OxiClean stain remover, the Zorbeez super chamois, a sticky substance called Mighty Putty, gadgets like electronics and and even items related to Direct TV Systems, was found unresponsive in his Tampa, FL home Sunday morning. He was declared dead by a fire rescue crew at 7:45 a.m., according to Sgt. Christopher Ugles, a spokesman for the Tampa Police Department.
The cause of his death was unknown, but Mays had told his wife, Deborah, that he didn't feel well after a U.S. Airways flight he was on made a bumpy landing Saturday afternoon. In an interview with a local Direct TV station, Mays said he was struck on the head by a falling object during the landing.
Later, the airline confirmed that Mays was on the flight.
Mays was not known so much as an innovator; TV infomercials have been around for decades, and other small-screen pitchmen,have become quasi-household names.

SPICE GIRL Mel C is Pregnant!
Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has revealed she is pregnant.
Mel, 34, is expecting her first baby with partner of six years, Thomas Starr.
She is the last of the five Spice Girls to have a baby. Mel - also known as Mel C and Sporty Spice - revealed yesterday (21.08.08) she is "delighted" by the news.
The other members of the girl band - Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown - have said they are delighted for their friend.
A source close to the star told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Melanie is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mother for the first time. The girls are so pleased for her and have said they're only a phone call away to pass on any parenting tips.
"Melanie loved being around their kids on the band's recent tour and is delighted she's now one of the gang."
Rumours Mel was pregnant were sparked when she was spotted in a floaty dress with what looked like a baby bump in Liverpool last Friday (15.08.08). One onlooker described her as looking "absolutely radiant" at the time.
