Duane Dog Chapman was arrested yesterday and is pending extradition to Mexico. Dog had traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 2003 to retrieve Max Factor cosmetics heir Andrew Luster, who was wanted in the U.S. on rape charges. Andrew is now in jail, serving a 124-year term. The Chapmans were jailed in Mexico for a brief time for the incident three years ago. Bounty hunting is considered a crime in Mexico. However, support is pouring in for the famous bounty hunter. A&E, the channel that airs his reality show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," issued a statement saying, "A&E supports Dog and his family during this difficult time and is proud of his role in helping to bring a convicted serial rapist to justice."
Finding a great lawyer can be a difficult task. September 11th was a time of tragedy for so many families. Surprisingly, many lawyers saw this as an opportunity to take advantage of widowers. One attorney sought $2,000,000 as a contingency fee for helping a widow of a man who died in the attacks.
He filed suit in federal court seeking a declaratory judgment entitling him to his fee. Simmons, Jannace & Stagg moved to dismiss the federal action, arguing that the Victims Compensation Fund did not provide federal jurisdiction for an action by an attorney seeking to protect his fee.
In addition, they argued that:
· there was no reported case that upheld jurisdiction under the Fund where the issue concerned a private dispute between an attorney and his former client concerning the amount of a legal fee.
· that the federal court should abstain because the state Surrogate’s Court had already begun an inquiry into the size of the attorney’s fee.

After hearing these arguments, the court agreed that the Victims Compensation Fund did not provide federal court jurisdiction. the Victims Compensation Fund did not provide federal court jurisdiction. The court also agreed with simmons jannace & stagg’s argument that it should abstain from exercising its jurisdiction. As far as Simmons, Jannace & Stagg is aware, this is the first federal court decision holding that attorneys’ fee disputes arising out of the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund should be litigated in the state courts.

Paris Hilton: Lip Synching Rumors!

Rumors are circulating on the web that Paris Hilton isn't really singing on her debut album. According to TMZ.com, unknown people have been posting comments on various web sites claiming that the lead vocals were done by Carah Faye Charnow, lead singer of the Los Angeles band Shiny Toy Guns. One comment said that Paris and Carah's vocals were actually mixed together, adding, "This is all true! I was using a recording studio down the hall from the band, and watched and heard everything happen." A source close to Carah said that she "did record vocals for Paris on demo tracks," but denied that her voice made it to the final album. Meanwhile, Paris's rep said, "Like so many internet conspiracy theories, this one is completely without merit. The voice you hear is of course Paris' voice."

Puffy aka P.Diddy, aka, Diddy did it first, now Christina Aguilera announced that she wants to be called 'Baby Jane' from now on.

The 'Dirrty' singer, who used to be known as 'Xtina', has reinvented herself for her new album, 'Back To Basics', ditching her trademark leather chaps and body piercings for a new demure 50s-inspired look.

Christina insists she wants people to call her by the new nickname because she is a new person.

She told HX magazine: "I thought Xtina was a cute nickname for the last record, but now the character for this record is 'Baby Jane'."

The 25-year-old star, who is married to music executive Jordan Bratman, has also praised former rival Britney Spears.

Christina thinks Britney, who is currently expecting her second child with husband Kevin Federline, is in a special place in her life right now.

She said: "I knew that eventually our bodies of work would differ. I think she's in a beautiful time in her life right now - she's a mother, and I think it's great."

The singer - who sports a mass of blonde curls and bright red lips in the picture - spent an hour perfecting her pose, which was inspired by bombshell Marilyn Monroe.
Meanwhile, Aguilera is apparently locked in a war of words with fellow diva
Mariah Carey.
Christina told GQ: "One time, we were at a party and I think she got really drunk, and she had just really derogatory things to say to me.

"But it was at that time she had that breakdown, so she might have been very
medicated."
Mariah - who was hospitalised for exhaustion in 2001 - later told Access
Hollywood: "I had hoped Christina was in a better place now than the last
time I saw her, when she showed up uninvited at one of my parties and

Pam & Kid Rocks Wedding - Is She PREGANT?

Pamela Anderson and her husband Kid Rock tied the knot once again in the groom's home city Detroit Saturday, just a week after their first wedding in Saint-Tropez, the actress says on her website.

"It's official. Just left the courthouse! Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie have left the building," reads the posting headlined "Just Married" on Anderson's Web site. (Kid Rock's real name is Bob Ritchie.)

The second ceremony comes as no surprise, however: Pam announced last month at her official website that she planned to have multiple weddings with Kid Rock.

“I'm going to get married a few times this month to the same guy," she said. "We had to do Malibu, we've got to do Detroit, and we've got to do Nashville."

The former Baywatch star also sparked rumors she is already pregnant.

Less than a week after her nuptials, Anderson phoned into American Idol host Ryan Seacrest's daily radio breakfast show on Friday, insisting, "I've never been happier."

When asked by Seacrest if she and Kid Rock had plans to start a family, Pammie responded: "There might be one in there now."

She also cleared up rumours that her Saint-Tropez wedding was illegal, saying the couple "hit the courtroom" to make sure it official.

This marriage is Kid Rock's first although he has a 16 year old son. Pamela has two children with former husband, Tommy Lee. Enditem
